Faculty Academy of Graduate Student Well-Being Application

The Faculty Academy of Graduate Student Well-Being trains faculty to teach graduate student well-being courses within their own graduate programs or across a cluster of graduate programs. Faculty participants will learn the relevant scholarship on mental health and develop facilitation skills to lead conversations on mental health. Trained faculty could receive the title Faculty Fellows for the Academy of Graduate Student Well-Being and those that teach a seminar in their programs will receive $1,000 in academic enrichment funds. While participants will engage with mental health research and consult with mental health experts, the program is not designed to provide group therapy or individual therapy for faculty.

The program will run September 7th, 8th, and 9th 9:00am-4:00pm in Walker Hall (in person). Food will be provided.

This application for the 2022-2023 academic year is due June 22. We will follow up with interested faculty in July.
